The dust and smoke in the direction of the ruins had yet to disperse when movement appeared at the edge of the dense forest.
Seven or eight figures emerged from the woods, each clad in torn armor and covered in blood, swaying as they walked.
They were all survivors of Slaughter City, having just crawled out of the underground ruins. The moment they saw signs of life in the direction of the town, their eyes reddened.
In Slaughter City, there was only one rule for survival: seize.

All they saw was an old man and a young man.

Just then, a tremendous aura erupted from deep within the distant dust and smoke.
The smoke parted slightly, revealing the collapsed mountainside behind it.
Bathed in blood-red light, a figure strode through the air. Wherever he passed, broken stones in the ruins trembled and rattled.
The King of Slaughter.
Most of his blood-red armor had shattered, exposing the pale face beneath.
Those blood-red eyes passed over Chen Xin and fixed directly on Qin Yun.
"You deserve to die!"
As the three words left his mouth, killing intent condensed into something tangible, making it hard to breathe.
He raised his hand and struck with his sword.
Blood-red sword light tore through the sky, charging straight at Qin Yun.
"Your opponent is me."
The Seven Kill Sword struck without hesitation!
A silver-white sword light slashed across it, cutting the blood-red sword light cleanly in half.
