Chapter Summaries

Allen explained his approach to swordsmanship to Hawk Eyes, then Teleported him to Marine Headquarters instead of simply sending him off. The Three Admirals recognized Allen and Hawk Eyes, and Akainu called for them to attack.

• Allen argued that continually inventing new swordsmanship would let him surpass Hawk Eyes, who thanked him and resolved to change.
• Hawk Eyes asked for more wine, and Allen took him to his frozen coffin boat, cut it free, and sent it into a spatial vortex.
• At Marine Headquarters, Kizaru and Akainu argued about their mission to capture Allen, while Aokiji told them to stop.
• Allen Teleported himself and Hawk Eyes to Marine Headquarters, where Hawk Eyes recognized the Marine building and realized where they were.
• Akainu recognized Allen and urged the Three Admirals to attack him and Hawk Eyes.

Yamato challenged Garp after he claimed to be the strongest fighter, and her Conqueror’s Haki knocked out most of the Marines. She called herself Gol D. Wang Cai, unaware of what the name meant, and Garp began to explain it as Allen tried to stop him.

• Garp stepped forward and claimed he was the strongest fighter present, prompting Yamato to challenge his strength.
• Garp released his aura, and Yamato eagerly asked Allen for her Wolf-tooth club before unleashing her Conqueror’s Haki, which knocked out most of the Marines.

• Honghua told Steve Dunas that Cuihua had drowned after waiting for him, and she blamed him for her sister’s death.
• Saint Nusjuro insulted Cuihua, so Steve Dunas covered him in shit and fought him across the Holy Land.
• Saint Nusjuro defeated Steve Dunas, beat him, and left him bruised on the ground.
• Steve Dunas visited Cuihua’s grave, blamed Saint Nusjuro for her death, and decided to target his family.

Allen, Yamato, and Nana spent time together aboard the ship and on the beach before spotting a stranger approaching on a small vessel. Yamato claimed that her surname was Gol D., leaving Allen baffled by her explanation that their deadbeat Father had told her.

• Allen chased Yamato on the beach, then Teleported her and Nana to a room aboard the ship, where the three played together.
• After eating, Allen returned to bed and slept between Yamato and Nana.
• The next morning, Yamato teased the shy Nana about playing with more sisters and encouraged her to help reclaim her position as boss from Hancock.
