Everyone knew Hun Tiandi's temper and quickly lowered their heads. Right now, nothing mattered more than getting through this alive.
As he stepped forward again, a cold glint of murderous intent returned to Hun Tiandi's eyes.
"I've already told you there's a way. I can see you've figured that much out. What I'm about to say next isn't open to objections."
"Wait!"
One of the men stepped forward, bold enough to risk his life, and looked tentatively at Hun Tiandi.
"May I ask what method you have in mind, Master?"
Hun Tiandi gave a cold smile. "I didn't expect anyone to dare question me. It seems you've lived too long."
"I wouldn't dare, Master."
The man held his ground, resolve clear in his eyes.
"I only want to put everyone's minds at ease. If you don't explain yourself, they'll think you've already prepared a foolproof escape plan. Then even fewer people will want to serve you."
The other servants began trembling. They stared at the audacious man. "You've gone too far! How dare you say that to the master?"
"Why wouldn't I dare?"
The man met Hun Tiandi's gaze without wavering. "If Master has no intention of killing us to keep us quiet, we have nothing to fear."
The Myriad Races Livestream had plenty to say about him.
[Medusa Queen]: Who would've thought a lowly servant would dare say that? It seems Hun Tiandi isn't very good at controlling his subordinates.
[Xiao Yan]: They're all cut from the same cloth, so there's not much to say about them. But Hun Tiandi certainly wasn't joking.
[Yun Yun]: Yao Yan, I really do think you're clever. Why not join me at the Mist Cloud Sect?
[Medusa Queen]: You've got nerve, trying to steal him from me. My man stays by my side!
