SCP-017's super drill blasted the Spirit Ring, even in its softened form, to pieces.

It could still repair itself, but the hundred-thousand-year spirit ring had been badly damaged. Its rapid regeneration had become a recovery that would take a set amount of time.

[Kaido]: Tsk, tsk. It would've survived if it hadn't done that. What a stupid Spirit Ring. I'd never have made a move like that.

[Empress]: It isn't you, so of course it doesn't think the way you do. I'm just curious how ignorant a Spirit Ring has to be to dare face SCP-017.

For now, at least, there was no answer.

Before the hundred-thousand-year spirit ring could recover, SCP-017 raised its mechanical arm again.

The million-year spirit ring used Instant Transmission and carried the badly damaged ring away.

It knew full well that if it abandoned the Spirit Ring, the others might no longer remain loyal to it.

So the million-year spirit ring left the lower-level rings behind and fled with all the higher-level ones.

Jiang Chen wasn't worried in the slightest.

Think that's the end of it? How naive!

Terror Strikes: The True Mastermind

SCP-017 swept through and slaughtered every Spirit Master and surviving low-level Spirit Ring in sight, indulging its urge to kill.

Yet no matter how hard it searched, it couldn't find the million-year spirit ring hiding from it.

Enraged, SCP-017 separated from SCP-888. Together, they destroyed every plant and tree in the Star Dou Great Forest.

The entire forest went up in flames. The creatures that had not yet become Spirit Rings were killed by
