History
During the upheaval on Douluo Continent, spirit rings and martial spirits turn against Spirit Masters. Spirit rings impersonate Bibi Dong and Yu Xiaogang to lure Jiang Chen; the impostors admit they do not know where the real pair are 89. Jiang Chen later finds the real Bibi Dong in Spirit Hall, where her Death Spider Emperor Spirit is using her to drain trapped Spirit Masters. He severs its connection to her and takes her to the Foundation. With her Soul Power and Spirit Rings lost, she accepts a place as Douluo’s representative on the condition that he address the crisis 93.
Jiang Chen subsequently discovers that Bibi Dong had regained awareness earlier than she admitted. She had allowed the apparent control to continue while pursuing her own plan to protect Douluo and obtain Foundation information. When Qian Renxue is injured defending her, Bibi Dong’s concern overrides her hostility toward her daughter. The Foundation forgives Bibi Dong’s deception but requires her cooperation in its research 94. After Yu Xiaogang is exposed as the “Douluo Destroyer” and dismisses their past relationship, Bibi Dong turns against him 97 98.
Bibi Dong later accompanies Jiang Chen on the Foundation’s investigation in the Battle Through the Heavens world 117. She completes her final Rakshasa trial under Foundation supervision, saying she must go through with it to protect Qian Renxue. After her ascension, she offers the Rakshasa Demon Scythe to the Foundation for replication and receives permanent external membership 121. She continues working with Jiang Chen against threats to the world, including the God of Destruction and SCP-012 127 130.
Personality
Bibi Dong is proud, forceful, and politically perceptive. She challenges decisions she considers unfair, but can restrain herself when confrontation would jeopardize Douluo Continent. Jiang Chen relies on her steadier judgment while remaining alert to her schemes 94 117 120 121.
Her relationship with Qian Renxue is strained by resentment and years of distance. Bibi Dong nevertheless protects her daughter in battle and completes the Rakshasa trial partly for her sake. Their embrace after the trial marks a more open reconciliation 94 120 121. After working with allies from other worlds, Bibi Dong says she has come to value friendship 132.

Spider Emperor Martial Spirits
- Bibi Dong possesses the Death Spider Emperor and Soul-Eating Spider Emperor Martial Spirits. During Douluo’s crisis, the former controls her while the latter takes over Spirit Hall 92 93.
