Background and History

Morgana is Holy Kesha’s half-sister. They once fought together to overthrow Hua Ye’s Heavenly Palace Order, then spent tens of thousands of years fighting over their opposing ideologies. Morgana championed the Order of the Fallen and led the Demon Civilization against Kesha’s Angels 7 23.

When the Myriad Races Livestream appeared, Morgana used her channel to promote her ideals. She initially wanted to capture SCP-173 and use it against Kesha, but held back when Angel Yan went to investigate. After SCP-173 killed Yan, Morgana became more concerned about the Foundation’s ability to contain it than about acquiring the anomaly herself 1 3 5.

The Foundation’s demonstrations increasingly challenged Morgana’s understanding of the universe. She barred her demons from Earth after learning of its planned SCP-096 experiment, and later expressed interest in going to Earth to study. Revelations about threats beyond the known universe led her to reject her earlier certainty about the Order of the Fallen, though she remained determined to refine its theory 18 23 37 45.

Morgana surrendered after secretly supporting Monster King Orochi’s unauthorized expedition into the Demon Slayer World. The Foundation sentenced her to ten years as D+ Class personnel and forced her to execute 347 demons who had killed people on Earth before taking her into custody. Kesha later obtained her release as a reward for assisting the Foundation, accepting responsibility for Morgana’s future actions 32 39 45 46 98 99.

Personality

Morgana is outspoken and often insults Kesha and subordinates who propose fighting without considering the consequences. Her caution around anomalies does not stop her from pursuing advantages: she seeks recruits through the livestream and covertly backs an expedition into the Demon Slayer World 3 7 10 11 32.

She is fiercely protective of the Demon Civilization. When SCP-610 threatens connected worlds, she refuses to rescue factions she blames for the crisis, even after Ato warns that the danger could eventually reach them. Later, she chooses surrender over a battle that could bring the Foundation’s retaliation upon her people 36 39 45.

Confinement leaves Morgana deeply afraid of returning to the Foundation. She describes its cell as unbearable not because she was tortured, but because she was left alone in darkness. Although she still resents Kesha, she warns her against provoking the Foundation and briefly defends her when Jiang Chen confronts her 99 100 122.

Abilities and Skills

Demon Claw

Morgana can summon a Demon Claw to seize multiple targets at once. Under the Foundation’s ultimatum, she uses it to lift and kill 347 demons who had murdered people on Earth 46.

Demon technology and modification

Morgana helps Monster King Orochi improve his Monster Cells. The modified cells can forcibly transform unwilling targets into monsters and give the resulting monsters a trace of demonic power 32.

• Her attempt to read SCP-173’s and the Foundation’s data fails 3.

Mind disruption

Morgana’s Demon power can disrupt minds. Kesha warns that using it on an opponent whose mind is already unstable might instead help that opponent recover; Morgana accepts the risk and holds back 108.

Recruitment and command

Morgana establishes a Demon Chat Group to recruit powerful people from other worlds, offering power and freedom in exchange for submission to her. She sets a strength requirement and asks applicants for combat footage 11 12.

Investigation

While helping investigate disturbances in the Battle Through the Heavens world, Morgana reasons from Hai Bodong’s possession by power formed from Dou Qi that Dou Qi itself might be behind the crisis. Jiang Chen calls the suggestion a major contribution 112.

Relationships

• Holy Kesha — half-sister and longstanding ideological rival; they once fought together against Hua Ye before becoming enemies. Kesha secures Morgana’s release and agrees to supervise her. Their distrust persists, but Morgana warns Kesha away from conflict with the Foundation and does not abandon her when Jiang Chen confronts her 7 98 99 100 102.
