Key plot points and events
- Chu Men effortlessly stops Steppenwolf’s axe strike, crushing the alien weapon and breaking the bones in Steppenwolf’s hands.
- Realizing he is outmatched, Steppenwolf tries to escape through a Boom Tube. Chu Men intercepts him and slaps him out of the sky, sending him crashing through Gotham’s East End and into a quarry.
- Steppenwolf survives but is gravely injured: his armor and face are wrecked, his leg is shattered, and he can barely move.
