The two of them had barely gone far when they ran into two familiar faces.
A-Train and The Deep.
The two had clearly just finished class. With nothing else scheduled that afternoon, they were heading back to their dorm.
As it happened, the class they had just attended was Crimefighting.
It was an important course at Godolkin University. After all, if most of the students went into the superhero business,
whether they ended up joining The Seven or were assigned to other cities,
catching robbers, handling crime scenes, working with the police, and facing armed criminals would all be routine. In practice, though, the course spent more time teaching them what to say in front of a camera.
The school and its instructors still took it seriously. It was one of Crimefighting School's top courses, and every generation of The Super Seven had studied it.
As luck would have it, the instructor had even brought up Lin Mo in class that day.
Apparently, he had wanted Lin Mo to say a few words. After all, neither the power Lin Mo had displayed nor the way he had handled those earlier incidents
was anything an ordinary student could match. Even a few words about his experience would have been useful to the others.
All right, the instructor had really wanted Lin Mo to win over more student fans. That was what the school and Vought's higher-ups wanted.
But halfway through speaking, the instructor glanced toward the students out of habit.
And then...
Where was he?
The instructor blinked and quickly scanned the students again. He knew Lin Mo's face too well to miss it. Lin Mo stood out in any crowd, especially with Joanna beside him.
But no matter how he looked, he could not find that familiar face.
