As Mo Bai asked, Aemeath and Singulum came to mind.

Singulum had sensed Rover's arrival, broken off his fight with Mo Bai, and charged straight toward her.

Aemeath had sensed Singulum heading toward Rover and gone after him.

So where had those two ended up? Why was neither of them anywhere near Rover?

"Me? I came to find a strand of frequency I lost," Rover answered gravely.

"If I don't get it back, my frequency leakage will only get worse."

After speaking, Rover glanced worriedly at the back of her hand.

That was where her Resonance Mark lay, and where Abu lived.

Abu had long been helping her stem the loss of frequency. By now, he was so busy with it that he could barely show himself.

Hearing her reason, Mo Bai's heart tightened.

Why did things suddenly become so serious whenever they concerned Rover herself?
