"This place feels like a maze. Does Losera never tidy it up?"
Mo Bai walked through Losera's memories, unable to keep from complaining.
Once he had heard about and confirmed her Resonance Ability, he had thought of it as a giant built-in flash drive, superpower edition.
And judging by this cluttered memoryscape, where she had not even bothered to divide things into sections, Losera must have been pretty lax about organizing that drive.
Though perhaps she was simply too busy as Principal?
After walking for quite some time, Mo Bai finally reached the place he had been looking for.
Before him stood a door identical to the one at the Principal's Office in Star Torch Academy.
Before entering, he had told Losera that he had seen something on her face besides exhaustion.
And it was not worry over the Academy's safety.
Losera was indeed a good Principal, but before she became one, she was herself. She was "Losera."
So Mo Bai had come to find out what was troubling Losera herself.
It was a small way of showing concern for his friend.
Whirr—
When the automatic door opened, Mo Bai saw the person he had come to find.
It was Losera, but without her top hat.
From what he knew of how this space worked, though, Mo Bai was certain she was not the real Losera.
She was the Losera in Losera's memories.
At first, one might assume the Losera in her memories would be no different from the one in reality.
After all, a person's existence was shaped by both their own memories and other people's.
But this "Losera" before Mo Bai had none of the memories others held of her.
In short, she was an individual born from the real Losera's subjective view of herself.
The true self
