Watching Mo Bai and Aemeath blame each other, the Rover felt as though she had slipped back into the past.
Something similar had happened when the three of them fought Singulum on the Roy Icefield.
Though Aemeath and Mo Bai looked like they were arguing, the Rover knew the two youngsters were close.
What were they arguing about this time?
Probably something trivial again.
When something truly serious happened, they never argued. They faced it together.
But how could she find out what the two of them were trying so hard to hide?
The Rover had a way.

She made no elaborate plan. She simply strode toward them.

Everything went just as she had expected.
The moment she reached Mo Bai and Aemeath, they both lowered the fingers they had been pointing at each other and snapped their mouths shut.
Even without doing anything, the Rover had an imposing presence where these two were concerned.
"Come on, tell me what you're arguing about. Neither of you is getting away today unless you do."
Mo Bai shot Aemeath an annoyed glance.
If she hadn't come looking for him, none of this would have happened.
Now he hadn't even picked out a Graduation Gift for the Rover, and he might get a scolding from her on top of that.
Aemeath clearly took issue with the look he gave her, but she couldn't openly snap back.
Otherwise, she would once again be subjected to the Rover's "lessons in love."
"We... we were trying to think of a surprise for you..."
In the end, Aemeath admitted it herself.
If they dragged this out any longer, they would have even less time to prepare the Rover's gift.
Mo Bai nodded along with her.
