After Yuzuru struck a pose every bit as clichéd as Kaguya's earlier one, the atmosphere turned awkward once again.

After a brief silence, Kaguya burst out laughing.

"Hahahaha... What was that? Don't tell me you think you can seduce Shido with it?"

Yuzuru frowned at Kaguya's mockery.

"Displeasure. Kaguya has no right to criticize anyone else."

"Haha... Right back at you."

"Denial. Kaguya's childlike figure could never entice a man."

"What!? You dare mock my body again? Are you trying to pick a fight with me!?"

"Challenge accepted. I was thinking the same thing."

They each shot the other a wary look.

"Um..."

Shido noticed the tension and was about to stop them.

But—

"Take this!"

"Counterattack. Hah—!"

It was as though they had taken Shido's voice as the signal to begin.

Kaguya and Yuzuru charged straight at each other, locked fingers, and began wrestling for the upper hand.

"This is a public place! You two, stop fighting."

Seeing them grapple again, Shido hurried over to intervene.

But the moment he reached them, a headbutt from Kaguya and Yuzuru sent him flying into the water.

"Ugh..."

Shido got to his feet, wincing. At least those two had shown some restraint and hadn't summoned their angels or Astral Dresses.

Otherwise, he would have suffered far worse than a little pain.

I don't think I can get between them at all...

Shido scratched his cheek, sweating awkwardly.

They were Spirits, after all. Even without their angels or Astral Dresses, a normal person like him couldn't interfere in their fight.
