"My, my, that's certainly true."
Lingmeng snorted and turned her face away in displeasure.
Shido spoke with a wry smile.
"Should I get it?"
As he spoke, he reached out to touch the tin.
But Lingmeng immediately rejected his offer.
"Don't touch it! I have my dignity to defend!"
Her shout startled Shido into pulling his outstretched hand straight back.
"Then how are you going to get it down without using your powers, Lingmeng...?"
"Well..."
She rubbed her chin, adopting a thoughtful expression.
Then the corners of Lingmeng's lips curled upward, and she pointed her right index finger at the floor.
"Kneel~"
"Huh?"
Shido tilted his head, looking rather bewildered.
Lingmeng spoke with a serious expression.
"I told you to kneel!"
"Oh, okay..."
The overwhelming pressure she exuded made him hastily nod and kneel on the floor.
"Good boy."
Lingmeng nodded in satisfaction, then continued.
"Now put your hands on the floor and straighten your back."
Shido obediently did as she said, initially unsure what she was getting at.
But when he saw Lingmeng start taking off her shoes, he immediately understood her intentions.
"Hey, hey... Lingmeng, don't tell me you're going to—"
Before he could finish, Lingmeng, wearing only white socks on her feet, stepped straight onto his back.
"Hehe, exactly what you're thinking."
Speaking in a teasing tone, Lingmeng easily retrieved the tin from the top of the cabinet.
Then she slowly crouched down and set the tin on the floor before sitting on Shido to put her shoes back on.
How should he put it... being casually stepped on by a beautiful girl, then used as a chair for her to sit on.
For some reason, both things gave Shido a sense of déjà vu...
Isn't this the sort of thing Kannazuki does?! Aaaaaah!
