Xvim was another of Bane's Godspawn, and the strongest of them all. Long, long ago, he had supposedly been born to an avatar of Bane and a Greater Tanar'ri Demon, though another account claimed his mother was a female Fallen Paladin. Whatever the truth, not long after Bane attained godhood, Xvim had already begun openly roaming the Realms as the Son of Tyranny. That had been more than a thousand years ago.
Xvim had once usurped control of Westgate, only to be overthrown soon afterward. He took pride in being the Son of Tyranny, yet hated his father Bane for refusing to hand over his authority. He desperately dreamed of one day killing his father with his own claws and taking his divine throne.
With the help of this inexplicable remnant of divinity, Xvim escaped his imprisonment. While no one-not even the gods-was paying attention to him, he left Zhentil Keep under cover of night.
Through that shattered divinity, the Godspawn soon sensed the fate of his brother, Mannacorn Anaheim. In his final moments, Mannacorn had stood before a window, listening to fireworks break the silence, watching expressionlessly as fireworks and flames stained the pitch-black night sky red.
For a dazed moment, Xvim seemed to hear those fireworks himself.
Then the memories within the residual divinity grew increasingly blurred. Only maddened images and twisted visions remained: lightning, dense fog, a boundless, bizarre starry sky, and a realm of utter chaos where constant collisions gave birth to new beings.
Then Xvim saw an endless Brass and Blood Battlefield. There were boiling rivers of blood, raging volcanoes, bloodstained fields, black skies, heaps of skulls, and dripping corpses.
