Rain left Oak Village, became an Adventurer, and joined the Whistling Hunters on a hunt for Boarfolk. After helping defeat the powerful Boarfolk Warrior Shattered Tooth, Rain gained its bloodline and began preparing to use his new charge ability.

• Rain killed Goblins threatening Oak Village, helped rescue Ruth and Lori, and gained Goblin and Mutant Goblin bloodlines.
• Rain left Oak Village for Mill Town, registered as an Adventurer, and began spear-and-shield training with Humbert Stonebeard.
• Rain joined the Whistling Hunters after demonstrating his Freezing Ray and helped them hunt two Boarfolk.
• A Boarfolk Warrior named Shattered Tooth broke Chris’s shield arm, but Rain and the team fought it together and Rain killed it.
• Leia reported the warrior’s machine-stitched armor and suspected infighting among the Boarfolk in Deadwater Valley, while the Association increased the party’s reward.
• Rain activated the Boarfolk Warrior Bloodline, gained stronger talents and Savage Charge, and removed his ordinary Boarfolk Bloodline.
• Rain tested Savage Charge, hurt his shoulder, and went to buy armor with his quest earnings.

Rain equipped himself, learned warhammer techniques, and joined the Whistling Hunters as they took on new jobs. Investigating Robin’s disappearance at Azure Mine led the team to a hidden Gray Dwarf operation, where they fought to survive the dwarves’ attack.

• Rain bought chainmail, a bull-horn helmet, and a spiked wooden shield, then asked Humbert to test him for warhammer training.
• Humbert taught Rain basic warhammer techniques and Armor-Breaking Strike, while Rain trained until the Whistling Hunters welcomed him as their full member.
• Rain helped the Whistling Hunters clear a Giant Vampire Bat cave, gained new bloodline abilities, and bought a spiked metal shield.
• The team accepted a mission to investigate the missing Simmons Squad at Azure Mine after Rain learned Robin was among the missing adventurers.
• Rain tracked Kobolds into the mine, where the Whistling Hunters fought them and found Robin’s damaged shield and other adventurer gear.
• The team discovered a hidden passage and encountered Gray Dwarves, who attacked them to protect their secret mining operation.
• As the Gray Dwarves used Gigantification and a protective pendant, Rain and the Whistling Hunters fought back, but Chris was knocked out of the fight.
