he came back out, dragging a small figure behind him.

Sakura was still wearing her short-sleeved qipao. Abruptly brought to the Land of Snow by Aogetsu Hyuga, she shivered all over.

"Where are we?!"

Sakura looked around.

Soon,

she noticed the Land of Snow's iron torrent behind her.

Still clutching the Ice Release scroll, Sakura looked utterly bewildered.

Aogetsu Hyuga hauled her forward.

"Time to see what your training has accomplished. Get to it!"

Sakura's eyes flew wide.

"Teacher! It hasn't even been a day! This is ridiculous!!"

I've only read through the scroll once! I've barely practiced at all!

What's wrong with you, Teacher?!

Sakura was on the verge of a breakdown.

And she wasn't the only one. Kazahana Dōtō was furious.

The mass-produced war machines he took such pride in were, in Aogetsu Hyuga's eyes, only fit to fight a child?

"Attack!"

Kazahana Dōtō pointed forward furiously.

The machines that had just killed the samurai all turned toward Sakura.

Aogetsu Hyuga patted Sakura on the head. "It's all right, Sakura. I'll always be behind you."

Hearing that, Sakura relaxed a little.

She turned to thank Teacher Aogetsu.

But Aogetsu Hyuga had already scooped Kazahana Koyuki into his arms and flown high into the sky.

Does that count as being behind me?!

Sakura took a deep breath. She was used to Teacher Aogetsu throwing her into situations like this, so she wasn't too nervous.

Kazahana Dōtō laughed loudly.

"Little girl, blame Aogetsu Hyuga for this! Fire!!"
