and a sharp sword suddenly appeared in his grasp.

her fists primed for an immensely powerful blow.
Aogetsu Hyuga showed no fear.
Instead, he tightened his grip on the sword.
The next instant,
intense flames erupted from its blade.
The flames did not lash out,
nor did they form a shield.
They wrapped themselves around Aogetsu Hyuga,
and over his body,
became a cloak of raging fire!
"Zanka no Tachi, West: Zanjitsu Gokui."
Aogetsu Hyuga slowly spoke the technique's name.
By then,
Kaguya's fists had thundered forward.
"Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack!"
Though
the flames that had suddenly appeared around Aogetsu Hyuga startled her,
her fists were already in motion. She could not pull them back.
Besides,
she did not believe mere flames
could stop this attack!

A tremendous roar split the air
and echoed through the vast, empty space.
Kaguya stared at Aogetsu Hyuga before her.
She wanted to know
where his composure came from.
Just then,
Kaguya felt
a searing burn spread through both fists
she had thrust forward!
It robbed her strike
of some of its power.
But Kaguya's eyes had already gone wide,
because
she saw
the violent gust unleashed by her fists
swallowed by Aogetsu Hyuga's cloak of fire.
The flames clawed at the air
like a brazen devil
lashing out in every direction.
To Kaguya's astonishment,
her Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack had not harmed Aogetsu Hyuga at all!
Her attack
had been consumed by his flames instead!
And the flames were not finished.
After scorching Kaguya's fists,
they raced up her pale arms
toward her torso.
Kaguya hastily drew back her fists,
then
retreated again and again.
