"Yeah, thanks to them. All right, enough talking. Let's put out the fire."
The shipwrights in the dock hurried to bring water faster.
Fortunately, Water 7 had no shortage of water. The firefighting went smoothly, and the flames were soon out.
Lin Mo went straight to where the Flying Ship was.
The fire had reached it too, burning away a small section.
Kaku was working on the damaged area.
Sensing Lin Mo's presence, Kaku glanced back and laughed. "Hahaha! It's fine. Only replaceable planks burned. The keel wasn't affected, so repairs won't take long. We might not be able to hand it over until noon tomorrow, though."
Lin Mo watched him in silence, then asked, "Where's Enel?"
"The tall one? He went after the pirates who set the dock on fire. Said he was going to kill them." Kaku kept working as he spoke. "Your ship's internal mechanisms are remarkably intricate. I got quite a shock when I took a closer look today. A few of the working gears were loose, though, and that could've caused trouble later, so I reinforced all of them."
Lin Mo stared at Kaku in silence.
He knew Kaku was a quick learner, but he hadn't expected him to understand precision parts like gears.
"Hahaha! You don't mind, do you?" Kaku asked with a laugh.
"No," Lin Mo said flatly.
Just then, Enel returned.
He had dealt with the pirates who set the ship on fire easily enough, but he was still angry.
"Damn it! Those ignorant fools got off too lightly!" Enel fumed.
Lin Mo glanced at him. "Let's go."
Enel looked at Kaku, who was still repairing the ship, and couldn't resist complaining to Lin Mo. "Look how badly the ship got burned. What if something like this happens again? Neither of us
