Once Enel electrocuted the largest baboon, the other baboons attacking Kaku stopped and began communicating in a language only they understood.
Kaku frowned slightly and took two steps back.
"Yahahahaha!" Enel laughed. "Just a bunch of cowards who bully the weak. What trash."
Kaku glanced back at Enel in the tree and said casually, "Looks like you do have a bit of a conscience. Thanks."
"Heh." Enel had no interest in Kaku's gratitude. "Don't get the wrong idea, Long Nose. I didn't do it for you. If you died here, it would be a pain for me."
"All right, I get it." Looking as though he had already seen right through him, Kaku changed the subject. "These baboons are a little strange..."
"Strange?" Enel glanced at the baboons huddled together in discussion, resting his cheek on one hand. "So what? In the eyes of the Thunder God, they're all trash. I could wipe them out with one finger."
Kaku said flatly, "You really know how to make people want to hit you... I'm trying to have a serious conversation. Can't you take it seriously too?"
"What a joke. You expect the Thunder God to take these useless monkeys seriously?" Enel yawned and turned his gaze toward the baboons, which were preparing to retreat. Without another word, he waved his hand, sending several bolts of lightning straight at them.
A burst of agonized screams instantly rang through the entire forest.
