One Piece: Starting by Refusing Red-Hair's Invitation

After Lin Mo returned to his room, he took the newly acquired Demon Blade Evil Spirit out of System Space.

With a thought, a Black Blade appeared in his hand. It was only twenty centimeters long, with a small skull between its hilt and guard. A ruby was set in one eye socket and a sapphire in the other. Its blade curved slightly, and the whole weapon gave off an eerie aura.

It was fine while it stayed still, but when Lin Mo gave it a couple of casual swings, a trail of black mist streaked with dazzling red and blue light appeared wherever the blade passed.

After a moment's silence, Lin Mo remembered that the blade could undergo some kind of second-stage evolution. Just as he wondered how to make that happen, it suddenly moved on its own.

Lin Mo let go. The blade floated before him and, right in front of his eyes, split into two. Their overall shape resembled the original, but the skull decorations had changed: one skull had two red eyes, while the other had two blue ones.

Interesting.

Lin Mo watched the two blades floating in midair with the hint of a smile. He took one in each hand and gave them a few casual swings. The effect from one blade had already been striking; with two, it was downright excessive...

The blades felt decent in his hands, but the flashy effect drew too much attention. Lin Mo still wasn't used to it.
