Lin Mo couldn't be bothered with him. He picked up the bowl of soup Kaku had served him, packed full of meat, quickly finished it, and left the cabin.
"Bastard! You hit someone for no reason, then walk away like you're in the right. Only you would pull something like that!" Enel shouted toward the cabin doorway, though Lin Mo was long gone.
Kaku chuckled. "Haven't you realized you're the problem here? You brought it on yourself... When I have time, I'll teach you how to talk to people."
"Damn Long Nose!" Shadows covered half of Enel's face. "You think you can do whatever you want just because Lin Mo's backing you up?"
"I'm hardly doing whatever I want," Kaku replied, long used to this. "How many times have I told you? If you don't rein in that temper, you'll suffer for it sooner or later. If it were anyone else, I wouldn't even bother saying anything."

Lin Mo set up his personal lounge chair, lay down comfortably in the bright afternoon sunshine, and settled in for a nap.
After coming to the world of One Piece, Lin Mo had gradually developed a habit of taking afternoon naps. He always slept for an hour or two, until it had become part of his body clock.
But this time, his nap seemed to last a very, very long time.
Suddenly, a clatter of footsteps, accompanied by dust and wood shavings falling onto his face, jolted Lin Mo awake.
Everything before him was pitch-black. He couldn't even see his hand in front of his face.
The damp air was thick with the pungent smell of rotting wood.
That long-forgotten familiarity left Lin Mo's mind blank for several seconds.
Once he recovered, he reached for a switch near his hand,
