The waters around Sabaody were filled with the enormous roots of the mangroves that supported the Sabaody Archipelago.

All kinds of fish swam among the tangled roots.

A few fish even larger than the Flying Ship passed by.

"Behave yourself while we're underwater," Kaku warned when he saw Enel about to start a fight. "When Mr. Rayleigh coated the Flying Ship, he told me its bubble is much like the ones used for Sabaody's bubble vehicles, only much tougher. It can withstand the pressure down here and stretch quite far without bursting. With enough force, something can even pass through it without breaking it. But if the bubble takes too many heavy blows at once—say, a large sea beast or a Sea King bites it, or the ship strikes a rock or trench wall and gets damaged—it'll almost certainly burst."

After a pause, Kaku continued, "So until we reach Fish-Man Island, we need to watch out for large creatures and obstacles. If the bubble bursts, the captain might have a way out. The two of us are done for."
