"Enough. Stop asking." Kaku wiped his face with a towel as he spoke. "If the captain wants to tell you, he will. If he doesn't, no amount of asking will make him talk. Unless you want a beating, leave it alone."
Enel: "..."
"I'm going to change." Kaku turned and headed for the cabin.
Enel still wanted to know why, but Kaku was right. If he kept asking, he was guaranteed to get beaten.
After a moment of silence, Enel changed the subject. "Aren't we sinking right now?"
"Too slowly," Lin Mo said. "Follow the ocean current down."
"Huh? Follow the current?" Enel looked at the mighty waterfall-like current nearby and understood. "It's that rough. Won't it tear the flying ship apart?"
"If it does, you're a lousy pilot."
"What? Don't talk nonsense." Enel bristled. "I've sailed your ship for years. Don't you know how good I am? You think a lousy current can stop the Thunder God? Hah! Today I'll show you what God Tier piloting looks like!"
With that, Enel steered the flying ship straight into the heart of the current.
Lin Mo said no more. Enel's piloting was nothing special in his eyes. Since Lin Mo had dragged him down from Sky Island, they had spent only a handful of days actually sailing at sea. Most of the time, the ship had hovered above the water.
Under the current's force, the entire flying ship tipped bow-first and plunged downward at speed.
Several times, the current nearly slammed it into the surrounding rocks. Each time, Enel reacted quickly enough to wrench it back on course.
Barely a few dozen minutes later, the flying ship emerged from the waterfall-like current and reached a stretch of sea without a glimmer of light.
It slowed to its usual pace and continued
