Chapter 746: Everyday life: Asking for trouble
If Enel hadn't stayed up in the lookout without coming down, Perona would have rushed over to beat him up.
Not that she could beat Enel... and her Negative Hollows couldn't even hit him...
"You bastard!" Perona glared at Enel.
Enel gave her an infuriating look that all but said, "Come hit me," and even pulled a face at her.
Perona was about to explode with rage.
Seeing that Perona was leaving, Kuina thought for a moment, then took a bag of jerky out of the kitchen and handed it to her. "The meat I dried a few days ago is ready to eat. This should last you a while on the road."
"Boohoo, Kuina's the only nice one." Perona sniffled and lunged toward Kuina.
Kuina instinctively dodged to the side, avoiding Perona's bear hug.
Perona looked stunned. "Kuina, you actually rejected me?"
Kuina answered in all seriousness, "Sorry, I'm not used to saying goodbye this way."
"Ah, fine, fine." Perona sighed helplessly. "Kuina, don't let this bunch of clueless men be a bad influence on you while I'm gone."
Only then did Rayleigh notice Kuina, and he asked curiously, "What happened while I was away? How did another beauty end up aboard?"
Kaku smiled. "Kuina and the captain are old acquaintances. She has nowhere else to go right now, so the captain let her stay for the time being."
"I see." Rayleigh smiled cheerfully. "All right, I'll come back and have a proper chat with Miss Kuina once I've dealt with Doflamingo."
Kuina asked in confusion, "I don't know you. We don't have anything to talk about, do we?"
Rayleigh didn't mind at all. "How would you know we have nothing to talk about if we haven't talked yet?"
"Enough," Enel said
