"What?" Yi Mei sneered. "You think I'd believe that?"
Kaku shrugged. "Then try it."
Yi Mei clenched her fists and immediately shouted toward the outside. "Karina, Kana, can you hear me? Someone's broken into the Castle! Come help me!"
Yet no matter how loudly Yi Mei shouted, there was no response from outside, as though her voice really couldn't get through.
"What's going on?" Realizing something was wrong, Yi Mei started to run outside.
Kaku leaped in front of her. "Where are you going?"
Yi Mei gritted her teeth. "Who the hell are you, boy?"
Kaku smiled. "Who I am doesn't matter. I won't hurt you, either. Just teach me to brew wine, and I'll leave once I've learned."
"In your dreams! I'll never teach you!" As she spoke, Yi Mei kicked straight at Kaku.
Kaku dodged sideways, then grabbed her ankle.
Yi Mei used the momentum to flip over, kicking at Kaku with her other foot.
Kaku caught that ankle with his other hand, spun Yi Mei twice through the air, then slammed her hard into the floor.
"Damn it." Yi Mei climbed back to her feet and was about to attack Kaku again.
Suddenly, with a bang, someone smashed a huge hole through the Kitchen door from outside.
Yi Mei thought her companions had arrived, but before she could celebrate—
A tall figure gradually emerged from the dust at the doorway.
Kaku had been puzzled. He had already enclosed the entire Kitchen with his ability, so no one outside should have known he was there.
Once he recognized the newcomer, he grumbled, "Can't you keep a low profile? I went to all that trouble to sneak in here, and now you've blown my cover."
"Long Nose," Enel said expressionlessly. "I came to tell you I'm leaving."
