Koala forcibly dragged Shusuke to a specially equipped infirmary inside the base.
After a thorough examination, the elderly doctor concluded that Shusuke had fractured the bridge of his nose.
Drawing on his many years of dependable medical experience, the old doctor treated Shusuke's injury, applied a medicated plaster to his nose, and secured it with bandages. He told him to keep it dry for the next two days, avoid any further blows to his nose, and rest for a while before letting them leave.
After they left the infirmary, Koala muttered, "You're really strange. The bridge of your nose is fractured, but you haven't reacted at all. Can't you feel pain?"
"That's not it," Shusuke said expressionlessly.
Koala looked utterly exasperated. "If you can feel it, why didn't you fight back? Even if you weren't going to fight back, why didn't you dodge?"
Shusuke glanced at her without saying anything else and continued walking.
Seeing him leave, Koala immediately followed him, asking as she walked, "Where are you going?"
"For a walk," Shusuke said indifferently.
Koala continued, "The doctor just said you should rest for a while. Stop wandering around."
"It's a minor injury. Nothing to worry about." Shusuke didn't care about the injury to his nose at all. In fact, he enjoyed how incredibly real it felt.
Unable to persuade him, Koala sighed helplessly and continued walking beside him. "Fine. It was my fault, after all. I'll take care of you for the next few days."
"No need."
"That won't do. It was my fault, so I'll take responsibility for the consequences. I don't want to owe you anything. Anyway, don't worry. As long as you don't do anything too extreme, I won't interfere. Oh, do you like sweets? The comrades in the kitchen made a few new desserts
