Lin MuMu said bluntly, "Whatever. He won't die, anyway. Sabo, you must have a Log Pose pointing to Sabaody. Give me one."
"Sure." Sabo agreed readily. "If all goes well, we could get there in half a month."
Shusuke raised another pointed question. "Lin MuMu, have you forgotten what happened to us at sea before we reached this island? We should have arrived quickly, but it took us three times as long. By that reckoning, it'll take the two of us at least forty days to reach Sabaody."
That quieted Lin MuMu again.
A Log Pose was easy enough to read. You just followed the direction its needle pointed.
But this was the Grand Line. The weather at sea changed without warning, and magnetic fields interfered with the ocean currents. For people who knew little about navigation, sailing through those chaotic fields, unstable air currents, and unpredictable weather was no easy task.
Lin MuMu did not want to waste any more time traveling.
After a moment of silence, she gave Sabo a pitiful look, though she hated having to ask. "Could you lend me a navigator?"
Sabo blinked, then smiled helplessly. "Lend you a navigator? How did you even think of that... Tell you what, I'll go with you. Once I've taken you to Sabaody, I'll leave."
"Hey, wait." Koala cut him off at once. "Sabo, did you forget we have a mission tomorrow?"
"You mean the mission in the South Blue?" Sabo said lightly. "It's fine. It won't interfere. It'll take over a month just to reach that country anyway. Once I've taken them to Sabaody, I'll head straight for the South Blue and catch up with the others as soon as I can."
"It's not that I don't trust you," Koala said, "but with your half-baked navigation skills
