One Piece: Starting by Refusing Red-Hair's Invitation

The Red Line separated the North Blue from the East Blue, the South Blue, and the Grand Line. Getting from the Grand Line to the North Blue was no easy feat; one had to pass through the raging waterways of Reverse Mountain. From the New World, however, all it took was crossing a Calm Belt.

Lin Mo did not believe Garp could have slept through a trip over Reverse Mountain.

So, most likely, Garp had set out from the New World.

"Are the Blue Sea's waters really that peaceful?" Enel asked, speechless. "You actually dared fall asleep while sailing alone..."

"Ahahaha." Garp laughed, looking a little embarrassed.

Just then, the sea directly ahead of the flying ship erupted into churning waves. An enormous leech thrust its head out of the water and lunged viciously at the ship, its huge sucker-like mouth taking up its entire head.

"Uh, what is that thing? Does it count as a fish?" The Sky Island Enel came from had no such bizarre Sea Kings, so this first encounter left him somewhat curious.

"Oh, a Sea King right after setting sail. What rotten luck." Garp picked his nose and took two steps back. "I'll leave this chance to get some combat experience to you youngsters. These old bones won't fight you for it."

Enel: "..."

Lin Mo: "..."

Garp's words left both Lin Mo and Enel utterly speechless.
