Lin Mo couldn't be bothered with more talk. He drew Kitetsu and swept it sideways, cutting every animal Zombie that had surrounded him in two at the waist.

Screams erupted all around.

But they were Zombies. They wouldn't die that easily, though being cut in half seriously hampered their ability to fight.

Meanwhile, in the forest outside the castle...

A skeleton with an afro shuffled forward, clutching himself and holding a cane-like sword.

"Ahh, this island is scary enough to kill me! Though I'm already dead. Yohohohoho..."

Brook, the afro-haired skeleton who had sailed alone through the Florian Triangle for decades, hadn't been able to resist secretly following Lin Mo and Enel onto Thriller Bark.

But compared with Lin Mo and Enel, Brook was far more timid. The island's "terrifying" zombies frightened him, even though he was a frightening skeleton himself.

So once he entered the forest, he broke into a desperate sprint.

After running through nearly the entire forest, he stumbled upon the castle's back entrance.

"Ah, I'm exhausted. This island is too frightening! Phew, my heart nearly leaped out of my chest. Though I don't have a heart. Yohohohoho..."

Once he had calmed down, Brook looked up at the gloomy castle, a little worried. "I hope those two are all right..."

Lin Mo entered the castle again from the courtyard. Before long, he reached a brightly lit room decorated in a childlike style, with a layer of grass covering the floor.

A long sofa stood in the middle of the room. Sitting on it was a cute girl who looked three or four years older than Lin Mo. She had pink hair in twin tails, wore a crown and an adorable outfit, and held a burgundy parasol.

"Horo horo horo!" the girl laughed.
