One Piece: Starting by Refusing Red-Hair's Invitation

"Perona, have you seen Lord Absalom?" The pink hippo ignored Lin Mo and stared anxiously at Perona.

Lord Absalom was Absalom, the Clear-Clear Fruit user Enel had killed.

The pink hippo in the wedding dress was an animal zombie, but the shadow inside her belonged to a woman named Lola.

Lola was so desperate to find Absalom because she wanted to marry him...

"No..." Perona said helplessly. "He might be at the graveyard. Try looking there."

"Okay!" Lola shouted, then took off running.

"Honestly," Perona said, bored. "Chasing a man all over the place isn't cute at all. Right, Lin Mo?"

Lin Mo chuckled but did not answer her. He kept walking.

Thriller Bark's Castle covered a vast area, yet in all the time he had spent wandering around, he had not heard a single major disturbance.

Knowing Enel, a fight with Moria should have caused an earth-shattering commotion. Why was everything so quiet?

One possibility came to mind.

Moria had caught Enel off guard before he could even attack...

Just as I thought. I can't count on that guy... even if he is pretty strong.

Anyone whose shadow Moria cut away would lie like a corpse for a while and be difficult to wake.

People without shadows were no longer useful to Moria, but he would not let them die. Instead, he had them thrown out, usually back onto the vessels that had brought them to Thriller Bark.
