"No bodies, no proof they killed your men." Aokiji looked at the Marines behind Spandam. "Did any of you see Lin Mo and his crew kill Spandam's men?"
Several Marines froze. Two of them nodded.
Aokiji tilted his head and stared at them.
They immediately shook their heads instead.
Spandam turned and saw them all shaking their heads. "Bastards! Didn't you all see that big guy kill Jabra with Lightning? How dare you lie to an Admiral's face!"
"Come on, Spandam. Don't be so hard on them." Aokiji waved a hand. "Without a body, there's no proof Lin Mo and his crewmate killed anyone. Let's leave it at that. I'm due for a nap."
Spandam was speechless.
"What nap?" Spandam snapped. "You're a Marine Admiral! I'm the chief of CP9! Why do you believe them instead of me?"
