Ace heard it, and his body jolted, his eyes narrowing.

It was only a simple question, yet it put Doflamingo on edge as though he faced a formidable enemy. Sitting across from him, Ace saw the change in his expression firsthand.
"He has awakened his Conqueror's Haki."
Taking a deep breath, Doflamingo answered in a low voice.
"Oh?"
"Very good! He mastered Conqueror's Haki in such a short time."
"It seems you really have been putting your all into teaching him."
Some of the chill left his voice, replaced by a hint of approval.
"I've been very diligent in carrying out your orders."
Doflamingo smiled.
But Ace saw clearly how rapidly the man's expression shifted as he spoke.
Clearly, even with his mastery of the three types of haki, he could not remain calm when facing Xia Le.
"However, our plans have changed."
The voice coming through the Den Den Mushi shifted as he continued.
"Oh?"
Doflamingo raised his voice.
"Originally, I intended for you to teach him Observation Haki and Armament Haki."
"But something has changed on my end, so we need to make an adjustment."
Sitting in his office, Xia Le spoke calmly.
Doflamingo did not reply, listening intently.
"Tomorrow, I'll come to you."
"I'll teach Ace haki myself."
Xia Le said.
"What?"
"You have time for that?"
Doflamingo asked in surprise.
