His voice was icy, cold enough to make them shudder.
"You broke the rules and violated military law. The navy has its own military tribunal to try you and determine your punishment."
"But stealing a Warship and deserting the navy? That's another matter entirely!"
"Sakazuki!"
He bent slowly, reached out with his right hand again, seized Sakazuki by the throat, and lifted him.
"That's straight-up betrayal!"
"Even if I wanted to spare you for the sake of all our years together, I couldn't!"
His words held a trace of regret.
"Hahahaha!"
"There's nothing between us worth remembering!"
Sakazuki's face twisted. Blood stained his lips as he forced the words out.
"You're nothing but a hypocrite who uses Justice as a pretext to pursue his own ambitions!"
"Xia Le!"
"You've fooled the whole world, but you can't fool me!"
Xia Le merely smiled.
"A pretext?"
"You've forgotten something!"
Confusion showed on Sakazuki's face.
"I never claimed to be a decent man!"
"You seem to have forgotten."
After a pause, a savage grin spread across Xia Le's face.
He flung Sakazuki high into the air with his right hand. At the peak of the throw, Sakazuki began to fall.
Crackle!
Black-Red Lightning erupted as Xia Le clenched his right fist and drew it back.
"You and I have reputations in the navy."
"We've always been known for being cold and ruthless!"
Sakazuki's pupils contracted. He wanted to dodge the blow, but he couldn't.
Xia Le's swift, savage punches and kicks had all but destroyed his ability to move.
As Sakazuki fell level with him,
Xia Le threw his punch.

The air twisted. Time and space seemed to stop.
Sakazuki felt time freeze around him. For some reason, scenes from his life flashed rapidly before his eyes, from his earliest
