Vegapunk shouted.
"I'll transport it to Sky Island!"
Xia Le said.
"I'm coming over right now!"
Vegapunk was adamant.
Xia Le frowned. He had no idea what had gotten into the man this time, but Vegapunk insisted on coming to Wano Country no matter what.
After a moment's hesitation, he sighed.
"I'll send an Admiral to pick you up."
"If possible, I'd like to move you to a different laboratory!"
Hearing this, Vegapunk immediately grew excited.
"Great!!"
"And Mr. Shipwright will be coming with me this time, Xia Le!"
"It's been a long time since we've seen each other, too!"
Xia Le paused, then finally remembered who the shipwright was.
Tom, the fish-man!
The name flashed through his mind, bringing back some of his memories of the man.
The world's greatest shipwright had once built the Oro Jackson for Pirate King Roger, and the World Government had found him guilty for that very deed.
But the Sea Train had persuaded the judge to change his ruling and grant Tom time to build it. When the Sea Train was finally completed, the World Government took him away.
At that very moment, however, a group of unidentified people had appeared and snatched Tom from the World Government's hands.
From then on, the world's greatest shipwright had vanished without a trace.
"Mr. Tom?"
"The New World certainly does need him now."
Xia Le spoke thoughtfully.
If the Sea Train could connect Water 7 and Enies Lobby in the first half of the Grand Line, it could naturally serve a purpose in the New World as well.
These steam-powered trains could, in fact, be considered the spark of the pirate world's first industrial revolution.
