A blush crossed Obito's face, and he looked a little bashful.
It was the first time an elder had ever praised him like this.
At the Ninja Academy, most people despised him as a dead last who dragged everyone else down. Praise and recognition had been rare in his life.
"If you ever run into problems with your training, you can come ask me anytime."
Xia Le chuckled softly.
"You're going to help me train, Elder?"
Obito froze, then was overcome with delight.
"I'd be happy to. After all, you're very talented too, Obito!"
Xia Le said with a smile.
"I'm very talented?!"
Obito stood dumbfounded.
An enormous rush of joy and excitement flooded his mind, leaving him dizzy for a moment.
By the time he looked up again, Xia Le had already walked away at an unhurried pace.
"Yeah!"
"Now I can train with Elder Xia Le!"
Obito jumped for joy.
The next day, Kakashi began his ultimate hellish training in hand-to-hand combat, running through Konoha's streets and alleys with weights strapped to his back.
Along the way, he happened upon Might Guy walking on two fingers.
Their eyes met, and both froze.
Guy pushed off with his fingers and landed on his feet.
"Kakashi!"
"You've started training in hand-to-hand combat too? Don't tell me you have no talent for ninjutsu either?"
Kakashi's face darkened. "I'm not wasting my breath on you!"
But Might Guy refused to let him go, declaring excitedly, "Since you're training in hand-to-hand combat, we'll have to see who's better!"
Kakashi ignored him and strode past.
But the next second, Guy turned around and followed close behind him.
"Let's train together!"
"When it comes to physical training, I won't lose to you!"
Guy shouted.
"Is this the burning power of youth?"
