"But your questions are rather foolish, aren't they?"
"Reality is right in front of you, yet you still can't see what's happening."
His calm words reached the ears of everyone present.
The Konoha ninja at the front stared in shock and fear at the fallen Third Hokage and Orochimaru, who stood there dressed as the Kazekage. They could not believe what they were seeing.
Kakashi's lips moved, his eyes equally shocked.
A moment later, he flickered over to the Third Hokage and reached out to check his body.
But the instant his fingers touched his neck, his eyes narrowed sharply.
A shadow passed through Kakashi's eyes. He slowly rose and looked at Orochimaru with a grave expression.
"Have you gone mad? Are you trying to start a war between Konoha and the Hidden Rain Village?"
Orochimaru merely smiled. "Don't misunderstand. This has nothing to do with the Hidden Rain Village."
"It was simply something I wanted to do."
Kakashi's pupils constricted, and he asked in a low voice, "Why?"
"As students, giving the teacher we admired a dignified end..."
"Is what we ought to do!"
Orochimaru spoke softly.
Then his gaze fell on the Third Hokage, and a complicated emotion flickered in his eyes.
"Give him a proper burial."
"After all, he gave a great deal for Konoha."
Kakashi's expression darkened. "You don't need to tell us that."
"So Sunagakure's surprise attack was part of your plot too?"
Orochimaru smiled faintly. "Without them drawing everyone's attention, it would have been difficult to face the old man alone."
Hearing this, Kakashi clenched his fists.
"You bastard!"
An angry roar rang out as Guy charged at Orochimaru and unleashed a vicious kick.
The kick caught Orochimaru off guard and struck him squarely in the abdomen. Strangely, however, his body
