Danzo laughed, then suddenly roared.
"You're the ones who made me a monster!"
He shot forward and appeared before Hashirama Senju in the blink of an eye, his fist already swinging.
Hashirama blocked quickly, but after a dozen exchanges, a kick struck his abdomen and sent him flying backward. He flipped several times before landing.
"His strength and speed have both increased."
"What an absurd boost!"
Hashirama sighed.
Not far away, Tobi watched in silence. His eyes flickered, and a distortion appeared before him. A vortex formed, and he vanished.
Danzo sensed it and whipped his head around. There was nothing behind him.
"Cunning bastard."
"But you don't matter anymore."
He paid Tobi no further attention and turned back to Hashirama.
Right now, the First Hokage interested him far more. Crushing Hashirama would bring him much greater pleasure.
He blurred and appeared before Hashirama.
Then Danzo kicked.
Hashirama blocked one strike after another as the two figures darted about. A few breaths later, Hashirama was sent flying.
"Lord Hashirama once stood so far above me. Now look at how wretched you are at my hands."

Danzo laughed.
Hashirama gritted his teeth. Looking at the dust rising from his body and his wounds as they healed, he sighed inwardly.
He knew Danzo was using him to indulge his twisted sense of amusement.
Danzo was also getting used to his newfound power.
