But he did not go over to greet them. Before they left, his mother had warned him not to change the past too much.
He only needed to tell them what they ought to know.

The three looked ahead as a huge spaceship settled quietly onto the ground, followed by the sound of machinery opening.
A moment later, two rows of armed soldiers emerged. The patched-together Frieza also walked down the steps with a cold smile.
"Are you three the only ones on Earth coming to meet me?"
"Where's Vegeta?"
"And those little human brats!"
Son Gohan said nothing. Trunks stepped forward.
"I alone am more than enough to deal with the likes of you!"
