Beerus tilted his head, dodging the energy beam. Then he flickered and appeared above Xia Le.
Xia Le looked up and grinned.

They collided again, fist slamming into leg.
Then their gazes locked.
The sharp light in their eyes clashed across the void, as if space itself might collapse.
Their figures flickered apart, then came together again, fist against fist.

Two masses of purple energy crashed together again and again high in the sky.
Their movements started slow and heavy, but the pace kept rising until the entire sky shook.

Beerus kicked Dark Xia Le in the abdomen. The immense force bent him forward and sent him crashing into the ground, shattering a vast stretch of earth.
