He swiveled his chair to face the desk.

Then he set down the newspaper and turned toward the sofa on his right.

A short-haired woman sat there in a purple cowboy hat with white trim, a purple-red miniskirt outfit, and a white fur coat draped over her shoulders.

Her eyes were blue-black, and her skin was sun-kissed.

She was a striking, mature beauty.

The man in the swivel chair looked at her with cold eyes and a crooked smile. "Guhahahaha! Miss All Sunday, Cobra's gone, hasn't he?"

"Yes."

The woman nodded and smiled at him. "He left this morning. He should be well clear of Alabasta by now."

She paused, then added, "Cobra took only one guard to the Reverie this time. There's still one left behind. Are we going ahead with the plan?"

"Of course."

The man stared at her and smiled. "With Cobra away from the kingdom, we can plant more of our people in the Royal Army. Guhahahaha!"

After a burst of laughter, he lowered his head and asked, "By the way, how's the Rebel Army that boy Koza put together?"

"The Rebel Army?"

The woman blinked, then smiled. "Not bad. It's grown fairly large, but it has too few weapons. And some villages in the kingdom haven't been driven to utter despair yet, so it isn't growing fast enough."

"Too few weapons?"

The man rose and walked to the window. Watching the enormous crocodiles swim beyond the glass, he spread his arms and laughed.

"Guhahahaha! If they need weapons, we'll give them weapons. If they need people, we'll drive those villages to utter despair. Simple, isn't it?"

"Give them weapons?"
