Doto nodded. After a moment's thought, he added, "Everyone here knows Sky Island exists, but I've hardly heard of anyone who's actually been there. Getting there means risking your life! Unless they're setting out to sea for an adventure, nobody wants to go. Even knowing where the route is, nobody dares take it."

Ahua laughed, then turned to Kuta with a grin. "What do you say, Kuta? Am I right?"

Kuta nodded. He knew there was another route to Sky Island besides the Knock Up Stream. He just hadn't expected it to lie along Route Three.

He turned to find all his companions brimming with excitement, and a smile spread across his own face. "All right. Now that we know where Sky Island is, that's our next destination!"

Then he turned to Doto. "Sorry for the trouble, Mr. Doto, but could you tell us the exact route and coordinates?"

"No problem."

Doto nodded. "Head east from here for about half a day, and you'll see a mountain stretching from the sea to the sky. That mountain is where the Sky

Road begins."

"I went to see it myself once, but I didn't have the courage to challenge that road to the heavens."

"Because of the currents, a river runs straight up one side of the mountain to its summit. Follow it upward and you'll reach the White-White Sea, more than ten thousand meters above us. From there, you can ride the current to Sky Island."
