Kuina nuzzled her head against Kuta's chest without speaking. She yawned and slowly closed her eyes, the corners of her mouth lifting into the smile that had never left her face.

Kuta looked at her lovely face, flushed red in the firelight, and smiled tenderly. Then he relaxed his body so she could sleep more comfortably.

He raised his head and gazed absently at the bright moon and the stars filling the sky.

Honestly, it had been a long time since he had felt this relaxed and happy.
