The news was so staggering that even Red-Hair and the others had to stop and consider what it meant for the world—and for them.
After all, what Kuta had told them was nothing like what they had always believed.
They never would have imagined that the Celestial Dragons, supposedly perched at the pinnacle of worldly power, really were pigs kept in a pen.
Now, though, Kuta had told them who kept the Celestial Dragons. It wasn't the World Government. It was their master.
The true ruler who had sat upon the Empty Throne for eight hundred years, never once appearing in the history books.

The thought alone sent a chill through them.
Even a pig could grow into a monstrous beast given that long, let alone Imu, who could control Uranus.
They didn't know what Imu was. But eight hundred years ago, Imu had overthrown the Great Kingdom—God's Kingdom, the world's previous ruler.
And Imu had done it even though the Great Kingdom possessed Pluton and had Poseidon as an ally.
Uranus alone could hardly have been enough.
Imu had to be a terrifying existence beyond anything they understood.
Only that could explain how Imu had cowed the Twenty Kings, made the Celestial Dragons willing to live as pigs in a pen, and erased a hundred years of history.
They had never known such a terrifying being existed. Now Kuta had made that existence all too real.
What was more, Kuta had made a promise with that being: one day, he would go to Mary Geoise and settle things with Imu for good.
As they recovered from the shock, everyone looked up at Kuta.
On his still-youthful face, they saw not a trace of nerves or fear. Only
