Everyone looked at Kuta. Only Robin stroked her chin, deep in thought.
Then she looked up at Kuta and said, "Could it be that our common sense is wrong? Sometimes, the more impossible something seems, the more likely it is. Common sense can deceive most people, but if we look at it from the opposite angle, how could the greatest power in this world not care about the Road Poneglyphs?"
Kuta looked at Robin and gave a quiet "Mm."
He shifted his gaze toward his eager-to-learn companions, chuckled, and continued.
"The World Government might not have cared about the Road Poneglyphs in the past. After all, no one had ever collected all of them. But don't forget that this world produced someone like Pirate King Roger."
"After Roger was executed by the Marines in Loguetown, the world completely entered the chaotic Great Pirate Era. The World Government wasn't stupid. Since one Roger could appear, a second Roger could appear as well. Since they understood that, they naturally knew how important the Red Road Poneglyphs were. How could they possibly allow a second Roger to emerge?"
At this point, Kuta lifted his fruit cup and took a sip of juice to moisten his throat before continuing.
"The two known ones are known to most Pirates. The Two Emperors possess them, and the World Government cannot launch a war to seize the Red Road Poneglyphs from them, not when it has to maintain the balance of the Sea."
"The third one is in Zou Country. Zou Country is a nation that extremely dislikes humans, but with the World Government's intelligence network, it's impossible that they've never been to Zou. Since they've been there, they very likely know that a Poneglyph is there."
"Of course, Zou Country's strength cannot be underestimated. With
