"I don't know." Fárbauti shook his head. As he looked at the Giant in the image, fervent reverence surfaced deep in his eyes. "When I entered back then, white mist obscured my view too, but I couldn't see nearly as much as Mr. Kuta can now, so I never knew this statue existed."
"Oh," Kuina murmured, then turned back to the image.
"Found it."
Just then, Kuta's voice drew everyone's attention. Following his gaze past the Giant's feet, they discovered a small Temple built from massive stones behind the Giant.
The Temple had no door. Darkness filled its interior, slowly swirling like a passage leading to hell.
"That's it. That's the place."
At the sight of the Temple, excitement appeared on Fárbauti's face.
"When I entered back then, I started outside this Temple. Beyond that vortex lie the true Inheritance Grounds."
"Inheritance Grounds?"
Kuina turned to Fárbauti again, her gaze curious.
Since they had already seen this much, there was little point in hiding anything. Meeting Kuina's curious gaze, Fárbauti slowly began explaining the power that truly placed the Giants at the pinnacle of the world.
"You all know the Giants are the strongest race in the world, don't you?"
"Yes!" Kuina and Robin nodded together.
Fárbauti glanced at the calm-faced Kuta and smiled. "Of course, compared with Mr. Kuta, we Giants really aren't much."
At that, he couldn't help shaking his head.
"Perhaps only the true God of our people, the great Elbaf, could compare with Mr. Kuta!"
"No." Hearing that, Kuta waved a hand with an amused smile. "I'm no match for Elbaf."
At least, not yet.
He kept that last thought to himself.
Fárbauti neither agreed nor disagreed with Kuta's words.
Staring at the Temple in the image, he said proudly, "The great Elbaf was a God
