"What's this?"
Whether they understood it or not, every Giant who felt that presence was stunned by the Conqueror's Haki Kuta unleashed at that moment.
That included Fárbauti, of course, and Kratos, whose Haki collapsed on contact beneath Kuta's Conqueror's Haki.
"Well!" Kuta lowered his head, his azure eyes meeting Kratos's bloodshot gaze as the Giant stared at him beneath the weight of his Haki.
"Tell me, who gave you the courage to think you could kill me?"
At that, Kuta glared at Kratos, and an even greater pressure bore down on him.
"Was it that power in your body, the power you gained by relying on someone else?"
"Answer me, weakling."
Staring at Kratos, Kuta leaned forward and spoke with boundless arrogance, his voice perfectly calm.
"You're asking to die, brat."
Kratos abruptly straightened, his body giving off a series of unnerving cracks.
The pressure was strong, but it couldn't keep him down. Though it made him uncomfortable, and the overwhelming Conqueror's Haki made his head feel ready to split, none of it could make him bow.
He gripped his spear tightly, and a ring of white vapor suddenly rose around his body.
Then he stepped back with his right leg and crouched, the arm holding his spear
suddenly swelling in size.
"Elbaph Spear!"
An unparalleled, piercing force, as though it could punch through heaven and earth, burst from his spear.
With a roar, he snapped his bent waist straight like a spring, thrusting the spear in his hand toward Kuta at tremendous speed.
The instant he attacked, the shock wave formed by that peerless force pierced the clouds behind Kuta, leaving a circular hole.
At the same time, friction with the air turned the spearhead red.
Kuta watched the rapidly approaching spear without moving, his expression utterly unchanged.
