Inside the Kamui Dimension, Rono sensed that Naruto outside finally seemed to be catching on.

With a little guidance from him, Naruto had actually thought to ask who his parents were.

Pressed by Naruto's questions, the Anbu had no idea how to answer. They made up an excuse and hurried away.

After all, these Anbu knew at least a little about what Naruto had endured as a child.

The Third Hokage's policy of ostracism had led most people in the village to believe Naruto was the incarnation of the Demon Fox.

They believed he was the killer who had murdered their loved ones.

As a result, Naruto's childhood had been utterly miserable.
