"The Nine-Tails really was a sneaky bastard."

Rono couldn't help laughing at the sight.

It was obvious the Nine-Tails was up to no good.

The Nine-Tails and Naruto weren't exactly on friendly terms. They were even somewhat hostile toward each other.

If Naruto could draw out the Nine-Tails' Chakra so easily, the Nine-Tails must have been helping him.

The Nine-Tails probably wanted to see Naruto kill Konoha's leaders, too!

As it turned out, Rono had guessed right.

The Nine-Tails had indeed had an ulterior motive. It lent Naruto its Chakra directly without interfering with his mind.

"Is the seal coming undone?"

"This is bad!"

Meanwhile, more and more Anbu arrived after receiving the alert.

Their faces grew grim when they saw the Nine-Tails' Chakra erupting from Naruto.

If Naruto lost control and unleashed the Nine-Tails' power, they would be no match for him.

"You're still going to cover for Konoha's leaders? Then I'll find them myself!"

Naruto was done waiting.

These Anbu were in league with Konoha's leaders. No matter how much he questioned them, they wouldn't answer.

Besides, with the Nine-Tails lending him power, his sensory abilities had improved dramatically.

Of Konoha's leaders, he had no idea where Danzo was, but Koharu Utatane and Homura Mitokado were almost certainly in the Hokage Building.

He would go straight there and kill those two first!

"Naruto, what are you doing?"

"Calm down! Don't do something you'll regret!"

Naruto moved to leave, but several Anbu attacked him.

"Earth Release: Earth Flow River!"

A river of earth appeared beneath Naruto's feet, throwing him off balance.

"Earth Release: Earth Prison!"

Another Anbu followed up, raising an earthen prison around Naruto!

"Stay in there and cool your head, Naruto."

With that, the Anbu turned their attention to Rono!

Just then—boom!

A thunderous crash rang out
