Kakashi, How Could You Be So Heartless?

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Chakra erupted from Naruto, forming five tails. He instantly broke free of Yamato's weaker Wood Release.

"Yamato, you've really disappointed me."

"Can you understand how much I've suffered? I only want the justice I deserve. Why are you stopping me?"

Naruto spoke to Yamato with his head bowed and his eyes downcast.

He hadn't expected Yamato to fail to understand him.

Yamato had even used Wood Release to stop him. Disappointment pierced Naruto's heart.

"Naruto, stop. Don't do anything rash."

"There must be some misunderstanding."

Just then, Shikamaru, Sakura Haruno, Choji, Neji, Hinata, Kiba Inuzuka, and the others of the Konoha Twelve arrived after hearing the news.

Sakura and Shikamaru led the group, and they were stunned by the scene before them.

What had happened to Naruto?

Why was he suddenly radiating such powerful, sinister chakra?

And he had even attacked a ninja from his own village!

Was this still the cheerful, resilient Naruto Uzumaki they knew—the boy who dreamed of becoming Hokage and had sworn to protect the village?

"Shikamaru, Sakura, please don't stand in my way. You're my friends. I just want Danzo and the two Konoha Elders to answer for what they did."

Naruto stopped and looked at his friends as he spoke.

Surely the friends he had spent so much time with would understand him.

"Naruto, being your friends is exactly why we have to stop you!"

"We can't let you keep making mistakes!"

"That stranger must have manipulated you!"

"Snap out of it!"

Shikamaru, Sakura, Neji, and the others shot Rono hateful looks.

That stranger must have used some ninjutsu on Naruto to change him so completely.

"Is that what you think? Thanks to Rono, I finally learned who my parents were."
