Hearing the voice, Enel turned and saw Burgess grinning at him.

"Hey, you arrogant bastard, don't you even watch your back? No need to thank me."

Burgess spoke with a broad grin.

"Thank you? Sure. You seemed pretty fond of fighting earlier, so I'll let you have this guy."

Enel chuckled at Burgess's words.

He had been hesitating anyway. Now that Burgess had stepped in, he might as well leave it to him.

Still, his gaze softened a little as he looked at Burgess.

He had finally gotten a taste of what it felt like to have a crewmate looking out for him.

Burgess, however, was in a foul mood. He had come to save this guy's life, so why was he getting saddled with this headache?
